Fuel Filter Question

683 Views 4 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  MONZA452
Had fuel filter changed and was wondering if there is a drain on the wif sensor to drain the water? Checked oil today and just ran my hand under the fuel filter and noticed it was wet on the bottom. Its not the filter maybe its the wif sensor leaking a bit or their is a drain open a bit on the bottom. Suggestions??

Yes, there is a water drain on the bottom filter, but it should not be wet. It's a manual valve.
So if its a manual drain how do you work it? Today im going to investigate it more (too cold yesterday) it could be the wif sensor being a little loose. their is no sign of any thing dripping just a little bit of fuel on the bottom of the wif sensor.
Just turn it until water/fuel starts to drain out.
Ok thanks found it
