I bought a truck in Tulsa oklahoma and am broke down in St louis missouri. Anyone know if there is a place to get 6.5 parts? Need a fuel pump motor module I think. The part that goes next to the injector pump. I broke down friday night took it to a tranny shop saturday...

Oh Ya the clutch went out as well... Not having very mutch fun... I got a rent a car an am waiting fot the clutch to get installed monday.. Hopefully everything comes out ok. Thanks

Whats the symotoms of one going bad?

MY truck would stall when going down the high way for 5-10 seconds then start moving again. It also stalls when sitting... The last time I tried to start it yesterday it would not start at all.

Any help appriciated. Im probably going to install this myself.

check the ground connections. if it had a remote pmd, you could try re-torquing the nuts.

check the usuals in the troubleshooting guide.

I also OWN a LBZ but that is in Pittsburgh 700 miles away.

Briefly - fuel filter, battery cables, ignition switch, and FSD\PMD, in order of cost.

Get a cheap OBD2 scanner from harborfreight - 40bucks, on sale rite now - or get autozone to pull any DTC's

SES light on?

Its at a tranny shop getting the clutch put in I went there today and used there scanner and it came up with a turbo/supergharger code?

They got the tranny out and are installing the new clutch. I also ordered a new balck box. Everything should be in and on my way home tomorrow. :bow:

Maybe wastegate code, but you need the DTC number to be sure.

That would not make it stall.

Could be fuel problem. Lift pump, filter, tank restriction, fuel cap.

Electrical problems could be bad PMD cable, most others would give a code.

Is the SES light off when you start it and comes on when it dies and restarts or while driving?

Probably the PMD... Look at Heath Diesels Isolator kit.

PMD in my experience will not trip the SES light.
