Has anyone else experienced problems with the turbo timer on their edge units? I was a beta tester and when I got the timer for the first time, it had an issue with it and was sent back. The second unit was the production unit and that worked for a couple more weeks. Then when I was pulling in to fuel up, I turned it off and hit the accelerator to turn off the truck except the truck didn't turn off. It took about 5 minutes of turning the key off, taking it out, hitting the accelerator, brake and anything else I could think of before it finally turned off on its own. After that happened, the turbo timer no longer worked. I sent the entire unit back into Edge and just got it back a week ago. Today, after work I went to turn my truck on and it turned over for about 8 seconds before finally catching. I had the transmission light on so I was going to turn it off and reset everything. I turned it off, took out the key, and the truck stayed on. I was below my EGT set point so it should have turned off. This time it only took about a minute before it turned off on its own and now the turbo timer doesn't work again. The Juice still works but I am a big fan of turning the truck off and not worrying about what the temps are in the turbo. Has anyone else had this happen? I was told there are some parameters that have to be met before the TT is activated. RPM's have to be at 1200 for at least 10 seconds. Anyway, this is just kind of frustrating. I do like how the Attitude monitor works and everything else but I don't want to keep sending this back in.

I don't use mine that much expecially since it is cold here in Wisconsin (I see you are also here). and I have it set up to shut off in 1 minute rather than at the egt level since I already have an egt gage and did not want to take the time to switch it over. I have had no problems at all (except for setting codes when shutting down). Works fine on the timer for me.

The turbo timer on my first unit (beta also) quit working after a few weeks. I was sent another one and it has been working fine ever since. I only use it now if I'm towing because it doesn't run that hot when I'm empty and I don't like the codes it sets.

I found when it only takes a few seconds to EGT's below 350 . Mine usually cools down to around 300 pretty quick, so i dont even bother with the Timer. Keep us informed though!

Well, out of the blue, I have gotten a new monitor and a new pyrometer. Seeing as how it is 2 degrees here right now, I don't see me swapping that out any time soon. I also remain skeptical that the monitor swap will fix it. I think I will need a new box. Hopefully this weekend I can switch out the monitor and see what happens.

I haven't had any problems with mine b/c it's not hooked up-don't know where to. I just got this thing a few weeks ago and the manual says nothing about hooking it up. Can you guys help me out? Thanks.

Here's what I was emailed on how to hook it up.

You will notice a small brass fuse tap in the package, as well as another wire. You will need to connect the fuse tap to the right side (if looking at the fuse box from the drivers fender) of the 10A TBC BATT fuse. I've attached a picture of the fuse to help you locate it.
