I have seen some discussion on cooling mods but couldn't find anything on the Air dam below the bumper. Does this piece of plastic help or hinder the cooling. Not talking about the splash guard since I do not have one.
Generally the airdam will help cooling. It changes the airflow under the truck to create a lower pressure under the hood, which helps get more air through the grille which should go through the radiator.
