Hello everyone. I am curious if the frame length is the same on an extended cab 2500HD vs an extended cab 3500HD dually? I have been pondering a different project, I guess just to be different. I have been thinking about converting my 3/4ton LLY over to a 1ton. I'd purchase the dually rear axle, bed, 1 ton springs, torsion bars, etc. I have access to a lot of that stuff at a pretty cheap price. But I was curious if I did go that route would the bed line up with my current frame length.
Thanks
My ECLB is 9 inches shorter overall than same year CCLB dually. But that's because EC versus CC. And I "believe" my ECLB is 9 inches longer than the same year CCSB. Going off memory of when I shopped trucks in 2005.
As jmlloar said "Only thing that matters is type of cab and what size bed."
When it comes to duallys, it's not the length that's different. It's the girth.
