It took a while but I finally found a tranny shop I trusted to install my Trango Jr. and Suncoast 1057(purchased from Mike L.). It is about 70 miles east of Dallas but they did a good job. Suplur Springs Transmission is who did it, I plan on having them do a Suncoast IV in the future.
I've got about 700 miles on the install and everything feels great. Evo on #2 the shifts were perfect after about 100 miles. I have been running on #3 for the last 200 miles and I just about got the shifts dialed in but still a little defuel (barely noticeable). I'm going back to #2 so I don't have to buy new tires. Shifts almost like stock until you get on it. WOT shifts are a little more firm but not much.

Yes, it is in Sulphur Springs. I live about 30 miles north east from there. Mike L. told me to post it up as some people were having trouble finding someone to do their installs in the Dallas area.

Cool. I grew up down the road from there in Emory, if you know where that is. My mom now lives in Lindale and my dad in Canton, both about 30 mi. from Tyler. I have an uncle that lives in Cumby and my grandparents live in Lone Oak (lots of little towns in that area :D). It's always nice to run across people from home. I can't wait until my enlistment is up so I can move back.

Sorry for the hijack.

Does Mike know of the shop or just from your experience?

I am scouting one out in Arlington, from what I hear the owner has a DMX and has done his own tranny. Need to find out what he used on his own, and how his is holding up.

I will keep DFW posted as to what I find out.

No, Mike did not know of them. When I called him after the install he just told me to post it up.

They are on Collins just south of the ball park. Do not know anything about them, but they have been there for along time. I will ask some guys what they know about them.

There is a black Dmax always parked there, think its like on 02.
If i get a chance I could just stop by there.

Guy down the street from me is his buddy. Yeah, he does drive an '02, he said he's been in buisness for a long time.

I'll give him a call and remind him tomorrow to see what he found out for me.

Yeah tell me I am just about to order the Suncoast III or IV, if I can find a place to install it locally.

If you want a quote from the place I did mine, send me a PM for the contact info. I can attest that they know thier $hit at the place I went to, but apparently not everyone gets a good deal. It prob wouldn't hurt to get more quotes though. The place I went to is an "authorized" installer for ATS stuff and is located in FW. I called about SC and they are willing to install that equipment, but you will have to provide it.
