recently installed my new glow plug harness when i removed the wires off the glow plug controller the red ( hot) wire touched something and sparked could i have poped a relay or somthing somewhere. if so where is it located. i have no WTS light in the cab, the bulb and the fuse are good.


any ideas?

sorry, never saw this. In my 6.2 the hot wire runs to the Alt, yours should goto a juction block I believe. there isn't a fusable link in that wire I believe as its a high amp feed. You may have blown the ignition feed to the controller, it should have a fuse and be connevted via one of the pins on the plug

I broke out the multi meter and narrowed it down to my controller. turns out when i replaced my wires i over tightened the + stud and broke it free internally so it wasent making a solid connection. guess they are serious when they say tighten to 32in/lbs.

living in bentley do you by chance know Gary and Bernice Cummings?

Gotcha makes sense now worries. Figured I would ask. Anyways thanks for responding to my original thread
