For anyone thats interested, I read so much in a week or so about the dirt , filter, problems, etc. I figured I would ask my dealer service manager about adding a second fuel filter system to my 2004 GMC Duramax truck. He stated that adding a PRE OEM Racor would not void or cause warranty issues .I now have this statement in a legal binding document with his signature. I will also add that he would not talk about a post OEM system. I also contacted GM,s costomer service and they said if the service manager says its ok then its ok, and he is their outhorized company represenative . They also said it was a good idea. Maybe this will help or give someone ideas. I would like to make clear that I am not against any of the filtersystems I have read about , but the previous discused system is all I could get my dealers service manager to sign his name to. David
