A guy at work was telling me that he saw on the speed channel where they were showing a grey reg cab short bed power stroke and were claiming it was the fastest 4x4 street legal diesel truck. Has any one on here seen that truck? I think he said it was running 9.xx and they said he wont be in the lead for long.

The Quickest Ford I am aware of is David Lots Snow White. I am not sure but I beleive he is in the 10s on drugs.

It very possibly could be. But how would he know it's the fastest? DHRA doesn't list it.

And I'm not sure how street-legal you can be with 9 second modifications done. Rollcage, parachute, fuel cell, spool, slicks, etc. It can be done, but what you end up with is a trailer queen with tail-lights and a license plate.

around here a 9 second truck wouldnt have to have a rollcage....the 1st time ...theyd throw you out and never let you back in until it had one

wouldnt 9 sec 1/8th be about 13.5-14.0 in the 1/4? IIRC i run very close to 8 sec 1/8th and thats a 12.5 in the 1/4. David Lott aka powerstrokeracer is the fastest powerstroke right now i believe he ran a 11.1 @ 129 mph (2wd reg cab longbed w/ slicks and nitrous) at truckfest in denver this past summer.

Yes, I know. But the guy might THINK he's fastest just because he is at his local track or something.

A 9 second build that is invisible to all the major Ford racing shops is not as likely as:

"Yup. I gotz a EDGE on ma truck! Iz the fastest truck in Pohunk County!"

Speaking of trouble codes, last night my friend and I who has an 06 LBZ 4x4 duramax went for a little ride because he just programmed his truck. Well we tuned it and everytime he smashed on it hard it threw a code and the truck wouldn't go obove like 30MPH!! What is causing this? The truck is fast for like 5 seconds and then it turns into a slug.
