What is it? I was sitting in my truck last night for about an hour. Every couple of minutes what sounded like a small fan would kick on. sounded like it was behind the radio. Anyone clue me in to what this is?

Oh, there is a fan on the back of the radio as well. These radios get REALLY hot since they have the amp built in on the 02s.

Man I thought I was losing it!! I heard that fan a while back and could not figger what the devil it was! MAX you got the your finger in all the pies! Thanx

that is more than likely what it is they get real hot put a cd in and play it for a while then take it out and it is all hot
