the gauges on the instrament cluster can they really be accurate. it seems my gauges are reallt wack ynumbers and would liekto know if its better to get aftermarket gauges for coolant temp, oil pressure, etc... yes i know the egt, boost pressure, and tranny temp. am i missing anything?

Nope the factory gauges are not very accurate. I don't think coolant temperature is really bad. Seems to me the oil pressure is more inaccurate.

Having said that they are tons better than idiot lights and at least they have some kind of relative scale to numbers. Does it really matter if you know EXACTLY the accurate oil pressure and coolant temperature??? I don't think so unless you are pushing the limits. As long as the gauges respond to changes correctly and you know the "normal" gauge readings thats probably good enough with the added EGT and boost gauges.
