I have a Edge and plan on removing it. I am getting gauges and wanted to know if the EGT probe adapter that screws directly into the exhaust manifold is a standard size. In other words if I could remove the top nut that holds the probe in and just screw my new probe into that adapter? Has anyone done this? Let me know. I was just going to remove the whole thing and plug the hole on the right side and use my BD manifolds supplied hole, but I should get the same temps on both sides, so why not use the hole I had to work on to make. Any suggestion please.

Edge pyro probe is a type K and has a type K thermocouple which most guages use. I still have my edge probe hooked to my autometer pyro guage with no issues.
