In both my truck and my Dad's truck we are noticing a huge pool of oil sitting in the frost plug in the tower....anyone else notice this? What's the fix besides new intake gaskets to block the EGR at the heads?
EGR frost plug problems....

Isn't that just the usual oil accumulation from the CDR that just happens to be settling in your plug?

I haven't looked at mine since that frost plug fail in the ERG tower... I'll try to pull it off and see. If I remember right Chris we both dropped those plugs in there around the same time. I'll let you know.

Probably the same "bypass oil" from CDR I get when I open the IC drain plugs

If you set up a jet pump to push that CDR oil back into the fuel tank, you'd be my hero.

Hmnnn scrubbing crankcase return to fuel tank, my oil samples are coming back that oil isn't turning acidic, so maybe a safe combustable blend, have to think on it some :idea:
