I found this EGR code blocker on this site. Does anyone have one of these and does it work in eliminating egr codes when a egr blocker plate is installed?

http://store.sevensaturdays.com/04chdudiegrc.html

My truck is a 2004.5 LLY. I have disconnected the egr plug so it is closed. I have not installed a blocker plate yet. I am getting egr DTC's.

Thanks;
NELSON

Probably, but do a search for Finger Stick on this site. Its the same thing.. does work (alot of us use it).. and costs only $25 with shipping.

Buy a fingerstick and plug the EGR back in. Otherwise, put the plate in and leave the plug as is. You will throw "soft codes", but you won't see them and it won't hurt performance.

Get the kit from KennedyDiesel.com. It has the blocker plate and FS (EGR override circuit). You'll then need to keep the EGR plugged in.

Where can I purchase a FS (EGR override circuit) from? I already have a EGR blocker plate in the works. Making it out of 304 stainless steel.

Thanks for the info. NEL
