Ok, so the other night on my way home from work, I stopped to fuel up and I decided to check my transmission fluid level, due to another issue I’m having, and I noticed that the area around the EGR block off plate is coated with carbon, the weird part is tat I do not have an exhaust leak around the area, we have checked this with soapy water, and a stethoscope. Is it possible that I have a good seal on the exhaust side of the plate and not on the EGR side, and some how I’m betting blow back through that side? The carbon is just at the flange and only on the EGR side of the flange.
