Are you letting the truck get warm first. You have to be at 160 degrees for the box to even come on with minimal power and at 184 degrees to get full power.

Do you happen to know if the Bullydog Outlook Monitor does the same thing? I had one in my truck but I just pulled it because it never worked. It powered up and the readings worked but it didn't add any power.

Outlook monitors are just that, monitors. You have to have a Bully Dog module or tuner to make them add power.

STLCHEVYHD,

What did you decide to do? I have the same problem with my Edge Juice w/attitude.... seems to work but no power. Its an older model and Edge offered to let me trade it for a new one for $350 but I'm not sure if I want to go with Edge or try something different.

I haven't done anything yet. I just yanked it all out becuase my truck went to the dealer for a blown headgasket. I figured they would give me flak for a pryometer cable still hanging there, but I haven't heard anything yet. It would be funny to argue that I didn't have my truck tuned up even though it was installed. I can't help it that it didn't actually work! I'll try putting it back in and see if it somehow works then.

How cold is it there? I notice a big difference when it's cold outside. They say to zip tie the module to the upper radiator hose, but I haven't tried it.

I thought it was practice now to actually have the module inside the cab to escape the heat. Mine was installed in the engine bay though. Double-sided taped to the fuse box like most. Mine was put in in Sept. Hot or cold, it didn't work.

I couldn't get mine in the cab, but I thought that they were making them to be long enough to go in the cab. I couldn't imagine getting those connectors through the firewall!

They have changed some components in the module to better deal with heat and cold in the newer beta units. I'm not sure if they are in regular production yet. If not it won't be long. They still go under the hood.

stupid question but, did you hook it up when you had a blown head gasket?

also i know edge had quite a few problems with the lb7's with them shutting down. but i think the new updated units have fixed that.

Well ... I unhooked mine for about a day and then reinstalled this morning. Its is definitly working now ... WOW. Mine was on the truck when I got it and the build date is 05. I guess it just needed a reset.
