Anyone running these? I searched and didn't come up with much information. How new of a tread design is this? Any help would be great, looking to get them in 255/85/16.

I'm actually looking at all sizes, up to 315's on H2 wheels, but just stumbled across these at a local sams' for a good price. So I'm looking for anyone who has ran these.

You can see 285's on stockers in my garage.255's are a bit skinnier.I also ran 255/85-16 BFG/MT's at one time. One of them separated on the front.

I run the Dunlop RVXTs in the 255/85/16 size on my winter truck. I put them on my 2500HD when I first bought them, but they seemed to wear quicker that I expected. The rubber compound seems fairly soft for a truck that is as heavy as a DMAX. I moved them over to my '98 Z-71 for winter use. They seem to be really good snow tires, and they don't seem to be wearing nearly as fast on the lighter truck.

I had them on my older dodge v-10.
They were horrible tires IMO. Wore out quick, and did not have good traction in snow and ice.

The best true off road tread tires I ever had for mileage and good mud/ overall traction were Bridgestone dueller MT. Too bad the biggest tire they make is 285 /75r16.
If they made them in 36" I'd buy em in a minute.

Gonna try **** cepeck FC2 next time around. I hear of good mileage from them, and not too noisy.
