Okay, I'm pricing spacers to go between my rears. Well, adapters I guess is the correct term, since they bolt on over one wheel and provide new studs for the outer.
Here's my question: I have steel wheels, I've found adapters in both steel or aluminum. Am I correct to assume the steel would be better with my rims? Strength shouldn't be an issue, the aluminum is t6061 billet or something like that. It seems to me I've heard about aluminum mated to steel causing corrosion or something. I'm sure either will work, just thought I'd throw it out there.
Also, If I should ever change to aluminum wheels, which would I be better off having in case I want to switch the adapters over to an aluminum wheel?
