I know you can still drive your truck after you limp it but lets say you put itback to stock will it still shift smooth as when you first bought it or will it feel like a worn out trans wih burnt clutches? I am curious because I have a couple of tunes I want to try and I wont have my trans till next month?

I just limped mine for the first time the other day and it doesn't feel any different than before... granted, I still have the same tune in it! haha..

I'd say if you stay away from 5th gear wide open you should be alright.

I've limped mine a few times, once its reset I notice no difference in shifting. I would sure like to get a SC transmission to cure the problem. It doesn't take long to learn to keep it out of 5th gear when you're heavy on the throttle in stage 3 (edge EZ).
