Hi everyone!
Just stumbled upon this site last night. Stayed up way too long reading!!

We have just upgraded our family car from a 2002 4x4 Envoy to a 05 2500 4x4 Suburban. I want to change the oil but there is so much going on under there along with the (skid plate) that I am having trouble locating the oil drain plug. I am pretty sure once I got it up on ramps that I would be able to locate it. But to play it safe, I was hoping someone could tell me where to find it before I attempt the oil change.

thanks

if you crawl under the drivers side and get a look at the back of the engine it should be right there on the back of the oil pan. might be hard to see from the front looking back.
