Truck is 2007 classic body style LBZ motor.. old alternator went bad at 119,000 miles and got a DR44 from autozone..old alternator had DR44G stamped on front. I did some research on this before posting, and even autozone was confused, but im hoping this is still 145 amp alternator? Glove box RPO code KG3 I have, so I believe this is the higher amp of the two? First alternator they gave me had different wiring harness on rear. Did the alternator change from early 07 to late 07 with the new body style LMM engine? Either way, with vehicle running both batteries read a little over 13 volts with volt meter.. so hopefully I should be okay? What do you guys think? Am I worrying over nothing?
