I finally decided to bite the bullet and took the truck to a Dealer in Mesa, Az. to see if I could get my WIF Light to stay off.
At first they tried to blame the New WIF Sensor I had gotten from a dealer here. He was inverting the Filter/Sensor and the light would go out. Said a faulty sensor cause it wasn't from a GM Daler. I said didn't believe the brand new sensor was bad, but if they could put a new one on and fix the problem, do it. By the way, did he check the wire from the sensor up to the bracket. They said the wire was fine.
A few hours later they called to say the Tech found the wire was shorted at the bracket as DR Goodwrench66 has said in an earlier post. When he was inverting the Filter/Sensor the wire was getting moved and removing the short temporarily.

Anyway, thanks again to Dr Goodwrench66 and all the guys that help here. Love this Forum.
