i have a friend that has a 92 ram 2500 with the cummins/automatic trans. He complained of the tranny not shifting correctly in and out of overdrive at highway speeds of 45-65 MPH. If he floors it and dont let off, it will shift into OD fine at about 75MPH and stays there. any suggestions on what this could be -maybe wrong type of tranny fluid or something?

Early DODGE's with the CUMMINS were known to have TPS issues and would cause OD not to come in all of the time. Replace the TPS and see if it fix's it.
