Dodge just introduced the new 4500 and 5500s. They look like the current trucks only they sit up about 3-4 inches higher with some huge fender flares that integrate into the bumper. Also run on 10 bolt 19.5 inch wheels and a 53 or 53 gallon tank. 19,500 GVWR and 26000 GCWR.

Give this link a try. They have a picture of a 4500 plus some info on the running gear. If you look to the upper right, there is a slideshow presentation of the 4500 and 5500.

Gm needs to delete the medium duty 4500 with its terrible reliability.
Make the kodiak start at 5500 and Make a 4500 Silverado with 19.5" wheels, huge brakes and a solid axle up front.

As cool as the kodiak pickups look they have terrible quality problems and are to damn big to drive around.

I agree with you on this. they need the old 3500HD back. it would be perfect to just have a 4500 like the 2500/3500's and then start the different body at 5500.

I agree with this also. Next new truck I will buy will be either a f-450/550 or Dodge 45/5500. I need a bigger truck and I think the Kodiak is too big for an everyday truck. imo
