I plan on leaving my 2004.5 LLY bone stock. The most it will ever pull is around 7000 pounds max, and that will only be two or three times a year. Would I still need like the EGT and BOOST gauges for example for everyday driving, or does the truck keep itself pretty well protected for those?

I put in the EGT and Boost gauges even though I am going to leave the truck mostly stock but I do alot of pulling every week; I was surprised to see how hot it gets going up some hills empty once I had the gauges and could not believe how hot it gets pulling 10,000 lbs up some small hills at 70 (don't even want to talk about the bigger ones) and just backing off the throttle a little will make a big drop in temps. Plus they look cool and all the others think you have got more under the hood than you are letting onto.
