You're gonna love it!

When are you going to be there? We are going to be at Disney World on the 20th through the 22nd of April.

Since my kids are at the perfect ages to be able to take it all in (19 mos and 5 years old), we have bought annual passes and try to go at least 3-4 times a year.

We always stay at Disney resorts. They have some pretty awsome deals for Florida residents and pass holders, so we take advntage of them. We were going to be staying at Ft. Wilderness ourselves in a friend's 30' TT, but they traded it in on a 5'er a few weeks ago, and I don't feel like installing a fifth wheel hitch for the few times we would use their camper, so we changed our reservations to stay at the All Star Movies Resort.

There is soooooooo much to see and do there it will blow your mind! The Disney resorts, including Ft.W, have a great transportation system, so you won't have to even unhitch if you don't want to.

If you decide you need to go to the grocery store, or want to have dinner at an off property restaurant, it is only a 15-20 minute ride to a ton of selections around the International Drive/Hwy 192 area.

Downtown Disney is another place to check out...Lots and lots of nightlife and some awsome eating, shopping and shows.

Make sure you see the light shows at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. They are awsome! The Lion King Show at Animal Kingdom is unbelieveable, as are all of the shows! Tarzan Rocks is great too.

MGM Studios is great too, and they have some terriffic shows as well...Beauty and the Beast will WOW you, and if you have any younger kids, they'll also love the Playhouse Disney show.

Epcot center is fantastic! and a MUST SEE, is Mission Space! My 5 year old rode it twice with me the last time we were there. It scared the s**t out of her, and she wants to ride it again this time! lol

All in all, there is nothing that will disappoint you, the service you receive from the "Cast Members" (Disney employees) is second to none! If there is something you need, just ask and they will assist you. The accommodations are wonderful, and the entertainment is out of this world!

Plan on an entire day to see each park, and even then you will see only a fraction of what is there. I honestly believe you would need to spend an entire week at each park to see it all.

You can go from park to park each day with your tickets, so don't feel like you have to stay at one park for the entire day. Also, get the Disney ID/room key card. It allows you to charge directly to your credit/debit card and no other ID is required. You can get one for eack member of your family. Also, any purchases you make at any of the Disney properties can be sent directly to the campground or hotel room, so there is no need to carry a bunch of packages around each day.

I can go on and on, but I think you get the idea!

Let me know if you have any questions...Can you tell I love Disney World?

Happy Easter!!!!

One other thing is the "Fast Pass". You insert your ticket and come back at the designated time and there is no waiting in any long lines.

Enjoy!

If there is a long wait at any of the most popular attractions, such as: Space Mountain, Mission Space, Test Track, The Haunted Mansion, etc. You can insert your park ticket(s) into a Fast Pass machine that is located at the attraction's entrance, and it will issue you a paper "pass" with a time window stamped on it. If you return to the attraction within that window and present your fast pass, you bypass the regular line and enter through the fast pass entrance. You still may have a short wait, but usually not more than 5-10 minutes.

You are only allowed to use one Fast Pass per person at a time. You cannot get a pass for multiple rides at the same time. Only one attraction at a time (everyone in your party can get a fast pass for the ride at the same time since they will each have a park pass of their own).

It is really nice to have the extra time to look around instead of just standing in line.

I hope my answer is not too confusing

What I do at Disney World is leave my wallet in the hotel and I carry a little ID wallet with the park passes and room key/charge cards for my entire family. That way there is far less worry about misplacing them, and keeps us (me) traveling as light as possible.

Since I'm a parrothead I have to stop at citywalk in universal studios.. must eat at Margaritaville... pisses wife off sometimes but getting her a few trinkets keeps her quiet... Ever been to Disney Quest in Downtown Disney? Sister went with her 2 kids and they loved it.. It's all in one building so there is less walking.. BTW.. at Downtown Disney rent a boat and take in the sights on the water, bit expensive but worth it. I live about an hour and a half N. of O-town so we get down there a lot, also must stop at the "redneck superstore"... Bass Pro Shop

Hey Rumaxed,

I think I may have met you on your way to FL. Did you stay overnight in Florence, SC at the KOA? One morning I was walking by the comfort station and a guy had the hood of his D/A and was talking to another guy. I walked over and you were nice enough to show me your Juice and Attitude. You had left CT and driven straight to SC. Was that you? If so, you can take credit for my buying a 2004 LLY when I returned from the trip. By the way, I loved Disney as well. Take care.
