Hi Ive noticed on some trucks with DIC that they have business trip, avg economy inst economy. My truck does not have this feature.(just Trip A,B avg econ.) Did they stop doing this for 06(cause I know GM is kinda funny like that). I would like to have this feature.Is it possible to download this onto my truck. Thank you.

I would love to have it in my 06 as well, but I think they only included that business and personal mileage feature up to 03. It was in my 2003, and it was a great feature.

If you get an answer that lets you replace the goofy A/B system with the much more useful business and personal feature that you can start and stop either one independently (as opposed to just being able to clear either A or B, how useless), I'd love to know!

my 04.5 has the personal and business odometers and fuel consumption meters, as well as the instant and average economy

IIRC, it was found that GM changed the DIC in 2006 and took out some of the features.

Another cost saver I guess.

2006 was the change... that's a drag. I hear they are taking out the tranny temp in 2007 with the LMM?

Might as well replace the dash with one light that lights up only if everything is fine, but when its dark you are left to guess what the problem is.... burnt fuse, burnt tranny... but GM saved two cents!

I hear that the tranny temp gauge is gone, but the info was added to the DIC.

Our 4.5 has it. The 05 & 06 do not McRat has tried several things to change it and none of them have worked.

No, I think it changed beginning in 05... As both Casper and Wendy have leather.

Mine does not have the Bus thing either but it does have 2 Trip meters does that count?
