:devilfingMy o5 has been having some issues i posted a while back. It went to the shop today for a coolant leak and the steering clunk. Call back and its the water pump houseing leaking. Is this common on the duramax. the shop said thats the only place they have seen the duramaxs leak from?:devilfing

This is not a answer but a question instead which is off topic lol.

Is that pic in your profile from silver lake? It just looks familiar and we take our sandrails up there all the time. I just had to ask.

My water pump housing leaked. Dealer changed pump couple months back.

When they first told me it was coming through the body of the pump, I was skeptical. After seeing the pump myself, I agree that it was seeping through, and not coming from the weep hole. Strange.

Issues are probably why some people drive Chevs, GMC's, Dodges and Fords. May have owned one or more of the above and swore off ever owning one again. Like me and Chrysler products. Everyone was a PIA. GM products have overall given me the most satisfaction. You can get a jewel or a turd in anyone of them. Luck of the draw.

got it back today they replaced the water pump i guess ill see what happens
