I would like some input from people with SRW trucks. And yes I know a DRW has all the better weight ratings but I need input from SRW owners.
I'm taking delivery of a 2016 Denali 3500 Deisel SRW. The tires are Michelin 10 ply. The truck is rated at 4250 cargo / 5th wheel hitch weight. Also it is rated at 17100 towing 5th wheel.

The 5th wheel is 39'
with no extra options 2478 hitch and ship weight 13700. the GVWR 16500
when I add w/d - gen - 8000 axles - disc brakes - 3 rd air - etc
I'm guaranteed
the hitch will be under 2900 and ship weight 14600. the GVWR raises to 17200

with all that being said I will have about 1200 to 1800 pounds of room till I hit the 4000 pound hitch weight.

I'm experienced with driving large RVs. So the size and weight does not bother me at all.

what do you think of the match up?????

thanks for your help

If you hit 17000lbs, which it pretty likely, your pin weight will be right around 3400lbs.
That seems to be okay for your cargo capacity. Still seems like a lot of load for a srw truck. Also, you need to factor in a full load of fuel, passengers and other cargo in the truck, ie: tools, hitch etc. On my truck, that total extra weight comes out to around 1200lbs.
