Long story so I'll try to keep it short. 2017 GMC Canyon: September 2020 a bearing rotated on the crank and destroyed the engine. I had a long fight with GM that included threatening a lawsuit and they finally agreed to repair it under warranty. They didn't replace the block, just all the moving parts and I finally got the truck back late December. It's not been right since, louder ,rough and there's pressure in the crankcase. The oil dipstick is getting pushed out and spraying oil on the engine, not always but enough that there is occasionally smoke coming out from under the hood. The GM dealer who repaired the truck ordered a new dipstick.... the running oil pressure is within spec so I'm not sure what to tell them to do.

Welcome to DieselPlace
Have you spoken with the Service Dept. Manager at the GM Dealer who did the repairs? I would ask them to take a drive with you and let them inspect the workmanship of the repairs that have been done.
