I think that in '92 and '93 you could get a GM turbo 6.5 but only a NA 6.2 unless it was a banks turbo dealer installed.

Yeah I think you could only get an N/A 6.2 in the 1/2 tons until '94 when you could get an N/A OR a turbo 6.5 in a 1/2 ton. I know I've seen a '94 1/2 ton 4x4 with a factory N/A 6.5. And yes a banks turbo option was available.

I've also seen a factory '92 K2500 with an N/A 6.2 and a 4L80E which I thought was different considering the turbo 6.5 was available and more sought after I would think.

'93 was the last year for the 6.2. From what I understand it was NEVER offered as a factory turbo...only dealer option with the banks turbo. 92, and 93 I believe offered the 6.5 as a GM turbo both years but I donlt know the 6.5's well at all

Yep thats correct. No factory turbo 6.2 was ever made, just the banks kit.

Yeah only the 6.5 got a turbo in 92-93 but you could still get an N/A 6.2 and 6.5. That was mostly 1/2 tons that got the N/A version until '94.

Both of those look like beauts. And that regular cab is quite reasonably priced too

Were posting duallys now? This was a diesel so maybe still has the boost? I could strip my c10 which its about time. And I have that extra transmission:idea: if my dually was running now id be tempted to scrap out my c10 but that blue paint has gotta go. This is close to me about 30 minutes.
