My governor in Oregon really doesn't have a brain of her own, she's basically copying her fellow libtard to the north Jay Inslee's actions.

As of 8pm tonight, there has been a total of 24 cases of the virus in the entire state or Oregon, yet numerous schools are being shut down, as well as ANY group gathering of 250 or larger.

I gotta say I'm definitely in the 53% when it comes to the first question on the MSN poll below.

Poll respondents seem to speak with forked tongues.... 53% think its overblown yet the majority of respondents are just fine with shutting down events and the like :Insane:

I think it is overblown. If everyone does their part (washing hands, self containment if showing symptoms, avoid elderly/risk people). There is way to much information out in the public that is incorrect and also to many arm chair quarterbacks/doctors.

It's way overblown. Media and the DEMS have weaponized the issue to create a panic.
Many videos of people crammed into stores buying up toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and bottled water.

Wife says her hotel (major Vegas hotel) is at no better than 20% occupancy from the non-stop cancellations over conronavirus fears - typically always oversold. The propaganda fear mongering is working libtards. You've done it. Created a panic that will inevitably create the next major recession.... all because you'll do whatever it takes - At ALL Costs - to get that power back.

The Fake News is the enemy of the people. THEY created this panic. Next up, they're gonna put victims in charge of their own investigations.

Post #4 above nails it perfectly. We should be vigilant and practicing good hygiene while yet another virus runs its course. But the TDS crowd won't let a catastrophe go un- exploited for political gain. Russia 3.0.

I expect the wife's lay-off notice any day now... Once again us getting screwed by the actions of others. But you can bet this go around I will NOT be turning down any govment cheese like my prideful idiot butt did during the last manufactured financial (housing) crisis. Can you believe I actually said when turning down financial help "Na, we don't need it. That wouldn't be right." Boy, have I learned

Over blown. Don't be stupid. Don't be greedy. Use common sense. If you look at those that are causing all of the disruption like cancelling sports venues, cancelling academic venues and media hype is tied to the liberals. They are doing their dead level best to cause Trump to fail. Bastards!

BTW the wife just got back from Walmart (I hate that place). She said no toilet paper and no water. Shelves were bare. An employee said 16 pallets of TP came in last night and the people mobbed the pallets wiping out the TP supply. People are acting like freaking animals. Just think how it will be when the socialists take over our government.

Last weekend I'm doing my weekly cleaning of bathrooms, in the house. I decided to use some of these Lysol all purpose type cleaning wipes. My son says "dad that stuff kills the Corona virus." He says read the label in which I did. Sure enough it names all kinds of things including the "corona". We've had these wipes for probably 6-9 months.

Wife and I are going to Cancun in May, for our anniversary. Been booked for 2-1/2 months. Still going not letting this control our lives like the way it is others.

I didn't know there was a run on toilet paper (idiots), so I didn't buy it when I didn't need it. Now, we're getting low and I can't do my regular monthly purchase. So....

Rationing of TP starts today. No more than 2 wipes, no exceptions. Hop in the tub if ya gotta. Plenty of water.

Other than that, we should be fine. Unless there's a run on beer, then we're screwed BIG TIME.

I'm good to go in the beer department. I just got a fresh keg on Monday and have a 30 pack pack backup in the garage fridge. That's not hoarding. It is SOP for me.

I am in the large format digital printing business. I told the boss that we should cut down banner vinyl in 5" widths and sell as toilet paper. Figured it would be a way to replenish the losses in the 401K.

My daughter works for PF Changs. She said they had people calling and asking if their food comes from China.
On another note. I'm working at a school right now and i open up one of the storage rooms to work in and look what I found. A 100 case of toilet paper. Any takers? $10/roll free shipping.
