Coolant usage- my 06 LBZ (highly modified) drinks coolant with no sign of leak, smoke or coolant in oil. When pulling very heavy loads, it will get as high as 240 deg. Then once shut off, unloaded and started back up
The coolant level low indicator is on. If you leave it at that level, it stays there but that level in right below the sensor, what could be causing this ?

Ok, I’ll try...full egr delete, 5” exhaust, high flow cold air intake, larger turbo, 75 hp injectors, EFI Live, 4:88 gears, Billit tranny, upgraded up and down pipe, 150 air dog pump and filtration

Drive the truck and get it to operating temp. Let it sit over night and then check the upper radiator hose. If its hard, then your likely looking at head gaskets.
