Engine light?

Check the code number. It will tell you what's up. Any light that pops up is something to worry about until you know what it is. You can get a code list here. Good luck.

codes P0046 & P2563

Finally found codes P0046 and P2563 after installing edge with attitude. Engine light stays on also. I noticed that this truck had some warranty work last year for turbo vane sensor and solenoid replaced. What are the odds that this can happen again or is it the edge with attitude causing the problem?

I received the code P0046 the first time I went to level 5 and did a "quick race" with a mustang. It was quick because I walked on past him. Anyway, about 1/2 mile later the light came on and I checked the codes. That was all that was showing. You can clear the code with the attitude. I cleared it and I haven't seen any more codes since then. I am hoping it will not do it again. It has been about 2 months ago. Jeff

If you have an Autozone or other autoparts store in your area that will scan and clear codes for free get them cleared and see of the codes come back. Also make sure the wiring harness is clean, no pins are bent and is seated all the way when connected.

The edge/Attitude modules for the '04 and '05 LLY trucks cannot clear codes.

engine light

Took the Edge off completely and took it to the dealership, there was a bulletin that the computer had to be reprogrammed because the turbo sensor was too sensitive and throwing codes. They said this shoul fix the problem. Going to drive it stock to see if light comes on, if not the Edge is going back on.
