My son has a 2017 L5P with 55K miles that he bought in June on 2017. He has no mods and is completely stock. His check engine light is on and he took it to a local auto parts store and the code was P133B. The guy at the parts store told him that code is for the #4 glow plug but after doing some searching here, it appears it could be many different things such as a glow plug module, a connector, etc. My question is this, if it has anything to do with the glow plug, wouldn't that be considered an emissions issue? RV4ME has quite a detailed post on this but no clear answer. My son is going to take it to the dealer to see what they come up with but I figured I'd ask on here since there is a large knowledge base here. Thanks for your time.

There is a gpcm reflash for this issue. It may have other problems, but try the software update first. PIP 5523

Good luck

Think of codes as an entry point to a list of diagnostics, rather than as a solution.

(yes, sometimes they can be both...)
