Can anyone tell me how to make the + wire in the trailer plug rec. hot.
I see in the manual it shows the fuse block under the hood using stud #1 but there is a difference between gas and diesel. Just want to make sure I don't mess any thing up if I put a fuse in that place.

The pick-up I am talking about is a 2004 1/2 CC SB LLY 4x4.

I just want to be able to go down the raod and be charging the camper batteries.

Trailer charging wire

The 12v line is always "hot" on the 2500HD regardless as to weather the ignition is on or off. Trailer problems could thus drain the truck batteries if you didnt disconnect [ at stops or overnight]. My previous trucks had a relay that disconnected the truck system when it was turned off. Anyone added a relay? If so where?
