Being a newbie to the Duramax scene, I am wondering if the dealer is able to change the speedo calibration for a tire size change? I am going to put on either 265's or 285's and would like to keep the speedo accurate - anyone here know if that is possible to have done at the dealership or will the tire size change void anything warrantable?

GM'S TECH II SCAN TOOL CAN PROGRAM FOR 265'S BUT NOT 285'S, WHAT YOU CAN DO IS GET THE ROLLING DIAMATER OF THE TIRES THAT YOU ARE BUYING. THE TECH II HAS NUMEROUS TIRE SIZES IN IT AND YOU NEED TO FIND ONE THAT WILL COME OUT TO THE SAME OVERALL DIAMETER. WHAT YOU NEED IS A TECH THAT WILL TAKE THE TIME TO FIGURE IT OUT. OTHERWISE AFTERMARKET PROGAMERS WILL DO IT TOO. I'M NOT SURE IF ANY OUT YET FOR LLY.

I bought 265's so the dealership should be able to handle it then. Thanks!
