I have a new cb radio. well its a 3 years old and never has been used. I got it out last night and hooked it up to replaced my old one. I can hear people talking but can not get out on it what could this be? Only thing i can think of is a bad microphone? It is a Cobra sound tracker. thanks for any one info. Mark

Could be a bad mic. Can u swap mics with the other radio to test? Check your grounds and the mic plug. Make sure there is no corrosion on the plug.

No the mic are not the same plug in I would hate to go buy one any not be it.
