Recently got a 94 turbo diesel that hasn't ran in over 5 years and honestly it's been a nightmare need to communicate with computer to clear codes and relearn the new IP iv got way more money in it then I planned on truck does run and idles great but but has had somebody hacked up some wires and had junction box on driver inner fender wired all types of wrong want to rewire but can't wrap my head around it connects to glow plug relay and diagnostic port plug?? Pictures would be great

OK that's the junction box power from bus bar suppose to connect to it and from there two hots go out one to glow plug relay and another to dlc ivmay have this information wrong in read way to much information on the 6.5 last 2 months trying to learn this truck

Welcome

Be sure to go through all grounds. Remove each one, clean the contact points, then reinstall.
IF any are in questionable shape then replace them.

Ok will do I have referenced the link a few times and will clean grounds on back of block once again added 2 new ground straps that go down why is it that it seems like I can't stay in 1 conversation or my original post where I had other replies and info seems like when I reply it starts another post can't find my conversations says I have no conversations but was talking to a few people yesterday

If you are using a mobile device try switching your screen settings over to "Desktop view"

If no comm with the computer. Check the fuse for the cigarette lighter. It must be good. Or the scanner scanner will not communicate.

PMD may be fried. That is one of the hottest places in the engine compartment to mount a PMD cooler. Check the ECM fuse.
