hi all,. my names Nick, i live in grand valley Ontario.
I,ve just bought a 94 crew cab dually with a 6.5L turbo, auto, i brought it home from boston mass. it has some neat things about it, it has some wood trim on the interior with buckets in the front with a wood console,. only has 113,000 mi, has fibreglass skirts, and a different front bumper painted to match,. only problem is the gears must be really low,. as the motor is turning 2600 at 65 mph,. so i,m looking for 4, 19.5 rims for the back,(just not sure how to recalibrate the speedo for the taller tires).
motor also has a small exh leak near or under the turbo,. but it starts well even at -20c,
I,m really excited about this truck as i,ve always wanted a big diesel dually. i,m reading as much as i can about modding this motor, including air intake, resistor, wastegate etc,. I,m an O/O with a freightliner classic pulling a 4 axle end dump for a living.
