Hello,
I just took delivery of a 99 GMC Sierra 2500, which is equipped w/ "west coast style" mirrors. (on metal rack/support attatched to the door). Can I remove these and add "typical" side view mirrors appropriate to the vehicle and year? Any ideas on plugging the holes left behind in the doors?

Thanks
Jake

yes the stock mirrors will bolt righ on. all you need to do is open the door and pull off the upper door trim, remove the three bolts holding the mirror blank, and bolt on a mirror. as far as plugging the holes...... stainless steel bolts and rubber washers????

Does anyone have the part number for the stock "typical" mirrors? I have the old body style. How do I describe my body style to the dealer? Do I just tell them I have a 1999 Sierra 2500 w/ old body style, or were all the 2500 hd's that yesr old body style??

Thanks
