The wife's '06 'burb likes to burp fuel back thru the filler neck toward the end of filling. We've tried different stations, different speeds during filling, different angle of the nozzle in the filler, etc. The dealer said he thought he read something about it, but couldn't find it while I was there.

Anybody have this problem or know if GM has something out about this? She's tired of getting fuel on her truck, and I'm tired of hearing about it.

Have your dealer check and make sure that the EVAP VENT VALVE is working properly. This valve needs to be in the fully open position for this unit to take fuel properly.

The fuel neck also is long and takes quite a route, check for restrictions.

If all else fails check an alike vehicle.
