Hey guys,

Long time lurker on the forum, just about to start my new diesel project: LBZ into a 1958 Chevy Viking 40 Grain truck.

I would like to know if i can reuse the factory Up Pipe flanges instead of buying new ones from ProFab. Are they cast material of just mild steel? If Cast are they cast steel or cast iron?

I believe those flanges are steel. You should be able to use them provided you do not have any clearance issues

By clearance issues, do you mean clearance between Uppipe and downpipe? The truck came with a 3" PPE downpipe and man is it tight!
