New Truck stock tires 245/75-16. I had chucks of rubber coming off the front tires (5000 miles). I thought that since was having problems I might upgrade to some BFGs. No such luck, I am talking to the Dealer, and trying to change up tires, but still getting stuck with Bridgestone. Has anyone else had these problems, if so what did you do to solve the problem.

Cheap, bottom of line tires from most manufacturers are just that, and that is what GM puts on as OEM. Often they are replaced with the same crap. Those companies usually make some good tires as their top line, as does Bridgestone. The Dueler Revo's are good, long wearing tires. If they are trying to keep you in Bridgestone, that is a very good tire.

Yeah my dad had the EXACT same problem w/ his 2005 truck. The stock tires had chunks literally coming out of the tires. They were such pieces of junk.

He went to the dealer and they only swapped out 2 of the 4 tires. Supposedly there is some sort of recall on those tires and you should be able to get them swapped out for some new ones.

good luck!
