Most popular place to mount is on the metal strip just under dash. Usually towards the right.

Have mine level under the dash mounted on the level part on the bottom...

i have the tekonsha voyager and really like it. I used it for my 40' 5th wheel and other trailers i own. The prodigy is a nice unit as well, i just like the voyager better.

I mounted mine beside (on the right of) the emergency brake release lever: it has never gotten in my way and it works for me.

The Prodigy has a brake boost feature and digital readout that my Voyager does not. Much better for me since I tow quite a few different trailers. I have a pretty good idea for what each trailer brake settings should be at.

Do we have a site vendor that sells them at a good price? I would like to replace the UHaul I have with the prodigy.

Prodigy is the best and you can find them for around 80-90 bucks off ebay.
I got mine off ebay for 85 shipped NEW.

does the prodigy adjust by single increments or increments of 5, my gf has a controller on her truck that adjusts in increments of 5 and for her horse trailer she has to set it a little heavy and it kind of draggs on the truck a little that way. other wise the next lighter setting the trailer kind of pushes the truck.

Prodigy adjusts by .1 increments. Yours sounds like a Draw-tite activator 2.
