Can you replace the bearings and crank without pulling the engine?

Not easy, not enough room to get the pan off without lifting motor some, can be done with some work..

I think you'd find it much easier to do the work with the motor out of the vehicle...been there done that.

If its the k truck in your sig. You have to drop the front differential to get the pan off. Then you have to move the trans back far enough to get to the flywheel/flexplate bolts so you can torque them right. Lot easier to just pull the engine.

I would'nt even attempt to do that.It's just too hard of a job to do and its virtually impossible to do it correctly that way under the truck.Better off taking it out,put it on an engine stand and do it properly.Bearings you can do under the truck no problem,but installing a crankshaft under the truck....would not be me.

yes it can be done if you remove the front diff and use long bolts on the trans to slide it back

It's almost easier to just pull the motor.

Of course, now that I know how to, I could pull the motor in my truck in 2 hours. ):h):h
