 This morning I went out and started my 05' and loads of blueish white smoke poured out of it till it hit 60-70 deg eng temp. Havent driven it in two days because I got a 07' LBZ. The start up sounded like it was grumbling. At about 100 deg I hit the accelerator to 1800 rpm's and the turbo kinda didn't want to spool, but still did a little. I left it alone for about 10 more minutes got in and it drove like normal no problems. Didn't blow any more blue/white smole just black:) . Anybody know why it starts this way?

Lots of trucks will do this on cold days, usually it is unburnt fuel because if incomplete combustion.

We have the duramax and a VW-TDI Diesel.

The TDI smokes a ton more that the duramax does and idles rough as it has no block heater.

Try plugging the dmax in and I bet the problem dissapears.
