Blowing TBC BATT Fuses

I was wondering what could be the culprit in Blowing TBC Batt Fuses?

I had to stick a 30A fuse in just to get home the other day. It blew the 10A, 15A, and a 20A fuse. I know I pushed my luck with the fuses, but there was no other way to get the truck running.

I've disconnected most everything I had installed in the truck, but the draw was still there.

Well, I think I figured out what happened. I didn't find any chaffed wires, but the wires were rubbing against a metal brace above the BCM/TBC (Body Control Module/Truck Body Computer). The Brace has two rubber insulators and one was displaced and pushed up on top of the brace.

I removed the BCM and Re-taped all the wire looms that plug into the BCM. The GM tape was either falling off or missing. I replaced the one insulator to where it looked like it belonged. I also duct taped the brace with a couple layers of tape as extra insurance. I also found some other braces where wires were in close proximity or touching and added some duct tape insurance there also.

I put the correct 10A fuse in the fuse box under the hood and it didn't blow. If I don't update this post again, it's fixed.
