My re-flashed ECM is on the way which will allow me to run a mechanical boost control. It is also going to allow me to do away with the EGR system. So no more need for that Vacuum system.

I won't be able to remove the Vac pump right away, so what is the best/easiest way to block it off or do I just pull the lines and let it continue to suck?

Thanks,
Dave

That sounds too easy! :)

Any tricks on what to use to cap/plug it?

Thanks,

Dave

A screw will work.

Unplug the hose coming from the Vac pump at the wastegate, plug in a plastic ball a bit bigger than the hose.
That's how I fixed it with the plastic ball wich came with my Turbomaster kit.
Works fine, and my reflash ECM don't throw any code.:D

To plug the vaccum lines, I used some capped ends picked up at Advance Auto.
