Earlier in the Summer I noticed that my engine block cord had come loose and the metal prongs were draging on the ground and are now little stubs. I know that 2 prong plugs can be replaced (My parents controlled my tv watching when I was a kid with them since they remove easily), but can the 3 progs be repaired/replaced easily?

Yes. Try the hardware store or home depot. Try and get one that seals the cord to the cord end. Good ones aren't cheap$5+
